Timeless Photos Need Timeless Albums

When I got married, I could not wait to receive our photos.  I thought I was going to explode when our photographer delivered them.  After seeing them and posting them to Facebook, I got started on designing an album for us and our parents so we could all keep the beautiful images for many years to come, long after USB drives and DVDs are obsolete.  Our album now sits on display and gets taken out at least once a month for me to look at or show others.  I adore it and will show our future kiddos as soon as I am able (it will probably be packed in our hospital labor bag – haha!).  There’s just something so special about sitting down with a beautiful album on your lap and reliving your favorite memories over and over again.

I offer and highly suggest couples order an album when they book me for their wedding, though they certainly do not have to.  However, I am looking out for their wants and needs, and since many of my couples are similar to me, they want a way to preserve their wedding for many, many years to come.

The albums I offer are different than the kind most people order for their everyday life photos.  These albums are gorgeous, sturdy, timeless, and top-of-the-line, as they should be since they hold weddings of such a precious day.

I ordered a sample album to show off to clients (I’m sure it will not be the last one since I love them so much).  I used Holly and Diego’s engagement experience photos since I love them so much to show off the quality of these albums.

They come with multiple color and size options.  Today, I will be showcasing a white 10×10 leather album.

Here she is:

The photo on the right (above) shows what makes these albums so special.  Instead of flimsy paper pages, these albums are made of stiff pages which not only makes for higher durability but also for seamless pages (no indent from the pages being bound together as in a traditional album or book) which you will see in later images.

The thick pages do not make the albums extremely thick, so they still look great on a coffee table or bookshelf, but they can stand up well without the pages folding or bending.

What makes these albums so timeless even beyond their appearance is their ability to withstand spills and storage.  The pages can be wiped off if spilled on and the thick pages and high-quality leather makes for a lifetime of durability whether sitting out or put in storage.  Because USB drives and DVDs will not be around forever, I make sure to highlight the lifetime wear and tear these albums can withstand.  Sometimes going the “old-fashioned” route is the safest option.  Of course, I offer the digital images as well, but albums will be the one thing you will have forever even when technology changes.

Okay, enough gawking at the outer beauty, let’s take a look at the insides.

The printing quality of the images is much better than a consumer-grade printing company could do.  These albums are designed for photographers just like me, so the stakes are high and they do not fail to impress.  Look at the beautiful ring photo that can span across more than just a page without a crease due to the special binding and thick pages.  I’m swooning!

The colors and clarity are right on point.  The photos look even more beautiful in print than they do on the computer!

Now, these two-page spreads are the huge, deliciously juicy cherry on top.  Regular thin-page albums just do not have this effect because everything in the middle would be lost in the crease.

Love these albums!  I have honestly stared at this album many times!  If you love photos, love your wedding, love your groom, and love preserving your memories, you will want to order one of these albums filled with your wedding photos (or even family, engagement, or soulmate photos).  You will not be disappointed!

Let me know if you have any questions that I did not answer in this post and I will be happy to help you out.  I also can order albums for sessions and weddings I’ve already completed, so email me using the contact button above if you are interested!

i just found your site off of the young house love blog, and this album is amazing! i love that the pages lie flat! can i ask where you had this printed? so many album companies i’ve used in the past have flimsy pages that don’t seem to really “support” the photos. this one looks beautiful. thanks!
