Ooh-ing and Aww-ing Over: Erin Condren Life Planner

Hello! Today marks the first day that I take my business up-close and personal by starting on the journey to blogging about not just photography, but about me as well. I want every person who views my website to have a clear picture of who I am, what my business is all about, and why I do the things I do. By just showing you sessions and photography-related posts, I’m not really showing you who I am, am I? No. So, today marks the journey of putting myself out there and welcoming any other crazy cardigan hoarders or mildly extremely obsessed organizers to join me on this journey to business and life success! Grab some root beer and make yourself at home.

Anyone who knows me for even five minutes probably can sense my Type A-ness right at the initial handshake and smile. Don’t worry, I’m not the demanding Type A, I am the freaks-out-if-she-is-a-second-late-for-anything Type A. Honestly, most of the time I enjoy this trait of mine, but sometimes it can get a little out of hand. Those of us Type A girls with husbands who aren’t quite so Type A may get a little snippy with said husbands when they decide to do things at the last minute, but hey, what’s marriage without a few disagreements, right?

I am totally the type of girl who does not just enjoy receiving things like notepads for her birthday, but organizational products can be found on just about every Christmas, birthday, and random wishlist I have ever made. Last Christmas I raked in big. You see, I love to open a million tabs (I wish I were exaggerating) in my Google Chrome and ooh and aww over beautiful, colorful things. I stumbled upon Erin Condren’s life planners and I about had a heart attack. Bright colors? Check. Tons of space for each day? Check. Month views? Check. Personalization? Check. After each check my heart rate started to sky rocket. Not only did it have everything I look for in a planner, but it also had cute quotes, room for goals, personalized stickers to use as reminders, and freebies like gift tags with my name on them! It immediately went on my Christmas list.

Thankfully my family members know how crazy-organized I am. Here I am opening it up on Christmas morn. Don’t mind the makeup-free face and mismatched “outfit.”

Seriously, I try hard not to be materialistic, but my planner is one of my most prized possessions. It would be very hard for me to function without it. Where would I write down every little thought that enters the black hole I call my brain?

As soon as I got it, I was filling it up with things to do and remember. Here is the first week of owning it.

So far, this year for me has been amazing in terms of personal growth and confidence. I have to say, this planner’s words of wisdom must have made an impact on me, see?

Start today & put your ideas into action.

Ordinary people endure life, passionate people live!

I love the little colored stickers that come with it that are pre-printed with common “to dos” such as girl’s night, party, dentist appointments, doctor appointments, birthdays, and so on.

Seriously, if you are anything like me and love organization and pretty things equally, you need to get yourself a rockin’ planner like mine!

For all of you clients out there, this planner = promptness and follow through on my part. If it’s written down, I never miss a beat.

For sidenote lovers out there: I am in no way affiliated with I simply love her life planners and want to help other business owners when I absolutely love their products and services.

I like to be organized also. Your planner looks great! I don’t think you could ask for more in an organizer!

Hi Sarah!

I love your pics of the Erin Condren Planner :) I am wanting to show clients pics of the planner to show them what they can win if they work with us for t-shirts. Do you mind if I use your pics on a little flyer?
